Thank you for considering Timberland Campground during your summer adventures. We are located at the Gateway to the White Mountains; New Hampshire’s northern vacation country. We are the last (tax free) campground on Route 2 before you enter Maine. If you are traveling from the west, you won’t miss the breathtaking white birches as you pass through Shelburne NH White Birches Pass.
If tent camping isn’t your style, we have options for you too. Check out one of our adorable cabin rentals near Mount Washington. Don’t own an RV? Rent one! Rent an RV or a camper and enjoy the wonderful fresh mountain air.
Whether you are looking to climb Mt. Washington, drive, hike, or take The Cog Railway, looking to see some moose, kayak the Androscoggin River, take a short hike, or bike ride; how about White Water Rafting? Whatever your adventure, we can point you in the right direction. We provide all of the White Mountain brochures, to help you determine what you want to do during your visit. We want to make your stay enjoyable and memorable.
After a long day of exploring the area, come back and relax in our large heated swimming pool. Or if you want to just hang out for the day you can enjoy taking a walk on our many walking trails around the campground and down to the Androscoggin River. The views are breathtaking. The kids will love playing on our pirate ship playground. We also have a basketball hoop for those up for the game. Most evenings you will find a big favorite taking a drive through the campground; our Fire Truck. Come on down and join us. Our guests of all ages are welcome. It departs from the store, check with us on times. This ride will show you our park from a new angle; the back of a fire truck.
